Watercolor on Strathmore Gemini 140-lb CP paper in handmade sketchbook. Approx 6.75" x 21" (17 x 53 cm).
Another one of my Illinois cornfield & barn prototypes. New Gamboge (Daniel Smith) used for the foreground field.
There's other stuff on my Flickr photostream.

Love this field... I have Windsor Newton New Gamboge... but I don't think it's this rich in color.
Elaine: Thanks for the comment. Not sure about W&N, but some gamboge pigments tend to be more like a schoolbus-yellow. The Daniel Smith New Gamboge is semi-transparent and has such rich color. It's really a workhorse for me. Order a tube from DS and give it a try!
i don't have a lot to say but wow! i love the field and openess. great job
I love landscapes like this, Steve...beautifully simple!
