Watercolor on Arches 140-lb CP paper, 7.5" x 11" (19 x 28 cm).
Another attempt at the photo reference from my recent David Becker workshop. The original photo featured clouds, but after laying in the sky washes, I decided I liked the way it looked without them.

Steve - hello from East Anglia in England. Found your blog via Claudia's list of bloggers to receive the Brillante Web Award. Thanks for all the info on the Becker watercolour course - as I teach drawing and watercolour skills at monthly workshops, it was interesting to see how others work. Really like his soft style and your interpretation in the Foggy Lake paintings.
Beautiful! And calming.
Nice colors :)
I love the peaceful quality of this scene!
This is excellent Steve. I like it a lot.
I like the freshness of your paintings. Really like Foggy Lake 2.
