My sister gave me this little toy watercolor set. There's a small loop in the upper right-hand corner so the set can be used as a key fob. I think it would be interesting to paint a little painting with this set, just to see how something might come out... Not sure how well the little brush would perform though... :)
Ruler shown for scale (English inches).

interesting!
Little ones though would not be able to use it - too small :) But it would be interesting to try it out!
That's adorable! It looks similar but smaller to a child's set I have in my purse. It took ages to soak out the original paints (must not have been too water-soluble) so I could replace them with good watercolors. With a waterbrush, you're good to go.
I have one of those too, I filled mine with gouache!
The little paint pellets were only double sided taped in on mine so very easy to pop out.
-Apple-pine: I agree--even though it's probably designed for kids, they would have a hard time using it. Fun to play with though!
-Jenny: Good idea on using a waterbrush with this; I think that would work well.
-Janice: Interesting idea on using it with gouache. Yes, the "pans" are already falling out of this set, which will make it easy to add custom pigments.
If I remember correctly, Roz Stendahl uses a set like this for all her on-the-spot work! I think she's reloaded it with her own colors though...
