Watercolor Painting - When Life Gives You Lemons

Watercolor on Arches 300-lb cold-pressed paper, approx. 11" x 15" (27.9 cm x 38.1 cm). This painting is based on this previous watercolor sketch, and was my submission to the St. Louis Watercolor Society "Quiet Moments" (still lifes) exhibition last week.

When Life Gives You Lemons

This bowl of lemons forms our current kitchen table centerpiece. I hope to later formalize this into a larger painting.

Still Life with Orange

Watercolor Sketch in Holbein Sketchbook, approx. 6 x 11" (15.2 x 22.9 cm). This little blue bottle was purchased at a flea market some years ago, and I think it was once a medicine bottle of some sort. Perhaps an antique Milk of Magnesia bottle. I've been wanting to sketch a still life, so I finally got to it here. I hope to someday soon do a more formal painting of this.
