Artist's Journal Workshop - Video
As I've mentioned in a previous post, I'm so pleased and honored to have several of my watercolor sketches included in Cathy Johnson's excellent new book, "Artist's Journal Workshop."
I created this video to highlight the pages on which my sketches appear; it's only about a minute long, so I hope you'll take a look. Also, please consider buying a copy of the book for yourself or as a gift--it's an excellent resource.
Finally, you can read my interview on the Artist's Journal Workshop blog here: http://artistsjournalworkshop.blogspot.com/2011/07/meet-our-interview-13-steve-penberthy.html
Enjoy,
Steve

I'm now a happy owner of "Artist's Journal Workshop" Love your water color work. Its' funny being a artist for most of my life and I set here looking at a white sheet of paper, and dont' know what to put on it or start working on it. I want the beginning to be something special...something even I would want to come back to it and be in ah. :)
Sherry: Thanks so much for the comment! I'm glad you're enjoying Kate's book.
I think everyone is intimidated at one time or another by that blank white piece of watercolor paper. But, remember it's only a piece of paper--there's always more where that came from if you don't like what you put on it the first time. :)
Also, I did a post a few years ago on a drawing practice book, that's meant to address this: http://www.stevepenberthy.com/2008/01/conquer-blank-page-with-drawing.html
BTW, been to Hendersonville many times--gorgeous country!
Good stuff Steven, shared your video on Facebook too. Love your artwork... and so glad you are in Kate's book.
